Year in Review
Thanks to you, we've had quite a year! We've mobilized tens of thousands of Floridians against Pink Slip Rick's job-killing agenda. In the winter, we awoke the state. In the summer, we turned the heat up with madlibs, donuts and robocalls. And, in the fall, we showed Florida just how scary Pink Slip Rick is.

Jan. 11: The Beginning...
FWA Executive Director Susannah Randolph calls out Pink Slip Puppet Scott Plakon for his assault on middle class Floridians on Fox 5. The January debate foreshadowed the battle for the middle class that was waged throughout t he year in Florida, in Wisconsin and beyond.
March 11: The State Awakes...
Thousands participated in Awake the State rallies at dozens of locations across Florida.
March 11: The Movement is Born
FloridaWatchAction.com is launched. PinkSlipRick.com is launched. The Firing Rick Scott facebook page is launched. And, the bumper sticker giveaways begin.
April 11: Unveiled! At the Rays Home Opener
The website is launched in dramatic fashion at the Tampa Bay Rays Home Opener. Pink Slip Rick is roundly booed.
April 11: Rick Scott Gets His First Pink Slipping!
We lined the parade route with Pink Slip Rick signs and protesters. This is one of the first times Rick Scott heard our message.
April 11: Invading the Capitol
Thousands of Floridians took over the Capitol shouting "PINK SLIP RICK" and "WHERE ARE THE JOBS?" We gave him pink slips, one at a time.
May 11: The Movement Grows...
We protested Pink Slip Rick in Daytona.
June 11: Madlibs!
Pink Slip Rick told his Tea Party drones to send pre-written letters to the editor to newspapers. We turned his letters into a madlib. Then, Stephen Colbert copied us.
June 11: Festival for Florida's Future Trains Activists
In June, we trained hundreds of activists to fight Pink Slip Rick's radical, job-killing agenda.
July 11: Vinoy Protest Brands Governor
"Pink Slip Rick" - our protest in Vinoy branded the job-killing governor across several news outlets.
July 11: Pink Slip Rick Mania Invades NEA National Convention
Dozens of Florida teachers represented the Pink Slip Rick movement at the NEA National Convention.
Aug. 11: It's Not Time to Make the Donuts...
Pink Slip Rick gets handed pink slips while serving donuts. It's not time to make the donuts. It's time to make the jobs.
Aug. 11: Robocalling Rick Scott
Pink Slip Rick decided to robocall us, so we returned the favor by sending him your robocalls.
Aug. 11: Ed Schultz Approved
Ed Schultz supports the Pink Slip Rick movement.

We heard that Pink Slip Rick was heading to Walmart, so we went to tell him how his policies hurt Floridians.
